Right now I am dealing with a buyer who is interested in a commercial piece of property in Jackson Heights, NY. The asking price of this property is well over 7 million and has been on the market for less than a month. The corner property is 100x100 with a R6/C1 zoning, so to a builder this is honey in a pot, the possibilities for this is immense and has a good potential to return a hefty profit.
So this should not be a rant is what you are thinking. I KNOW - I would think the same thing. But here is the problem. I have an offer on this property and I have a good offer. This is not an offer that I just fell into - Noooo - this one required work. You see my buyers were playing to low ball l games and almost got totally rejected just out of insult by the seller. So this has gone back and forth for over two weeks. FINALLY my buyers made a reasonable offer, that I think the sellers will consider and quite possibly accept.
So whats the problem? Since Friday, the listing agent has not returned ONE call. Not a return call to tell me the property is available or not. I called him Friday 3 times. Saturday 2 times. Sunday 3 times and now today - every hour on the hour. Not a call back.
Welcome to the world of commercial real estate. lar... ps i love knowing you drop by now and then.

Does this agent have an employing broker that might respond or take your call? In California, the real estate broker is responsible for presenting ALL offers.
