September 11th - Five years later

There are no words.  There is no way to remain the same.  There is no way to turn back time.  But there is the memory.  The memory that will remain with me, my children and my family. 

This week our children are going back to school and the day this tragedy happened was the first day of school for most.  I remember that day like it was yesterday.  The thoughts that come to mind are only of sadness.  Although we pulled together during this time - families were ripped apart.  My heart still breaks for the families of the victims.  I don't think that I have to go into a replay of what happened that very day - I am sure that all of us remember and will always remember.  I know that during that day everybody's lives were changed forever.    I don't think recounting the day will make you remember more.  I know where I was, I know what I was doing and I know how that day changed me. 

Just taking a moment to remember and to remind people that you don't have to wait until September 11th to pay tribute to all.  I pay tribute each and every day.
