There are alot of firsts that you have to do. Everyone has to do them - to go further.
Jonathan Dalton wrote a great article about the firsts (could also be second timers and maybe even 3 times a charm - but to make a point I am using 1 timers). I could not agree with him more. He is 100% right. It is OK and actually it is GREAT for people to buy the smaller house - it may NOT be your dream house but it's YOUR HOUSE! You can upgrade. You can move. You are not committed for a lifetime in YOUR HOUSE, but it is better to start off small and build equity and repair your credit, if needed than to bite off more than you can chew.
